CBD and endometriosis: Can cannabidiol oil help you?
In recent years, painful periods have – at last – become a matter of public and political concern. The taboo surrounding menstruation remains very much alive in society, despite a recent Ifop survey showing that 48% of women suffer from period pain. What is known as ‘dysmenorrhoea’ (period pain) is far more common than is generally acknowledged: nearly 1 in 2 women suffer from it. This figure rises to 60% among women aged 15 to 19, and 20% say they experience very painful periods. In addition to physical pain, symptoms such as severe fatigue or anxiety are frequently observed.
Key takeaways:
- Trycome’s “Endo” CBD oil is designed to relieve the symptoms of endometriosis and painful periods.
- Menstrual pain is often caused by an excess of prostaglandins, leading to painful uterine contractions.
- CBD oil interacts with the endocannabinoid system, helping to regulate pain, stress and inflammation.
- "Endo" oil combines CBD with other cannabinoids and red mandarin essential oil for an antispasmodic effect.

As people become more open to discussing the issue, more and more products are appearing on the market to try to support women. This subject must no longer be taboo! A CBD oil recently optimised by Trycome – Endo organic CBD oil – aims to alleviate the symptoms of endometriosis, painful periods and PMS (premenstrual syndrome). How can this organic cannabidiol oil provide a solution for painful periods?
Why are periods painful?
First and foremost, it is important to reiterate that it is not normal to experience excessive pain during your period. If this is the case, it is strongly recommended that you consult a gynaecologist, who will carry out further tests.
Primary and secondary dysmenorrhoea: painful periods
Primary dysmenorrhoea begins at puberty. It is more commonly known as ‘painful periods’, which actually describes the symptoms. dysmenorrhoea affects a significant number of teenage girls, with 50 to 70% suffering from it either permanently or occasionally.
These menstrual pains are caused by an excess of ‘prostaglandins’, a substance produced naturally by the body that helps to expel the endometrium, i.e. the uterine lining, during menstruation. When prostaglandins are produced in excess, they cause overly frequent contractions that deprive the uterine muscle of oxygen, resulting in pain.
This leads to numerous symptoms such as:
- Pelvic pain
- Intense fatigue
- Migraines
- Nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea
- Feeling unwell…
Secondary dysmenorrhoea, on the other hand, occurs in adulthood. Unlike primary dysmenorrhoea, it is often associated with a medical condition or an external cause such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids or a copper IUD…

Endometriosis: what is it? What are the symptoms?
It is only recently that endometriosis has been properly recognised by our public services and politicians. This condition is, of course, not the only one to affect women, but it is certainly one of the most debilitating.
Endometriosis affects around 10% of women, or 1.5 million French women. It is characterised by the presence – and growth – of uterine lining (endometrium) outside the uterine cavity, which causes severe pain. In rare cases, the endometrium can even reach the lungs! Most often, the affected areas are the pelvis, the peritoneum, the ovaries, the bladder, the intestines, the vagina, etc.
The WHO states that the most common symptoms of endometriosis are:
- Severe pain during periods and sexual intercourse
- Chronic pelvic pain
- Pain during urination or bowel movements
- Nausea
- Fatigue
- Infertility
- Anxiety, depression
There is currently no cure for endometriosis, only medication to reduce symptoms.
Painful periods: but what else?
In addition to painful periods, the Ifop study shows that over 80% of women feel tired or lethargic during their periods and 71% feel irritable. Almost half admit that their pain has been downplayed at some point, and a third have been mocked because of their periods.
It is therefore vital to take painful periods, or period-related symptoms such as premenstrual symptoms, seriously, as they can affect millions of women every day. Pelvic pain, migraines, back pain, dizziness, depression and anxiety are a common experience for over half the French population!

CBD oil and periods: does it really work?
Cannabidiol is a cannabinoid that occurs naturally in the hemp plant. The term ‘cannabinoid’ indicates that the molecule is capable of interacting with our endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid system in mammals plays a regulatory role in the body: it manages inflammatory responses, pain sensations, stress and anxiety…
Consuming organic CBD oil can, much like homeopathy, support the body, particularly in the case of painful periods. CBD oil can also help combat the symptoms of endometriosis, painful periods, or PMS.
- Cannabidiol is a muscle relaxant. By massaging tense areas of the pelvis with CBD oil, cannabidiol helps to relax the muscles.
- CBD is also known for its antispasmodic properties. It reduces muscle spasms, which are a key factor in menstrual pain.
- When ingested, cannabidiol can help reduce feelings of stress and anxiety. Premenstrual symptoms often lead to anxiety and depression, which can be alleviated through the oral administration of CBD oil.
- CBD is also a natural painkiller. It can soothe feelings of pain.
This is why Endo CBD oil is thought to be capable of providing long-lasting relief from women’s period pain. Cannabidiol oil appears to be a natural solution to painful periods.
The ingredients in Endo CBD oil
Trycome’s Endo CBD oil is not just made up of cannabidiol! This Trycome product also utilises various cannabinoids known for their analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties: the cannabinoids CBC, CBN and CBG!
Furthermore, the oil is combined with red mandarin essential oil, which is primarily used for its antispasmodic properties.
Endo organic CBD oil is therefore particularly effective at soothing cramps and chronic pain.
How should Endo organic CBD oil be taken?
Endo oil can be taken in two ways, which you can combine for optimal results:
- Topical application: massage tense or painful areas to reduce cramps and soothe pain.
- By oral administration: place a few drops of CBD under the tongue, leave for thirty seconds, then swallow. This will allow you to benefit from its muscle-relaxing, anti-stress, pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects over time.
